Qà Bàchyi Mîze (/qə/ /ˈbəci/ [green] [owner]) is a subtropical Town located in Rîmà Bàgoyà Kingdom, Chyûyu̽ Lu̹sû Empire, within the Warrenese Shogunate.

The name Qà Bàchyi Mîze is derived from the Wareneese language, as Qà Bàchyi Mîze was founded by Êtèdo Èqthepîv, who was culturaly Wareneese.

Climate

Qà Bàchyi Mîze has a yearly average temperature of 10°C (50°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 23°C (73°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a freezing -2°C (29°F). Overview

Qà Bàchyi Mîze was founded durring the early 12th century in fall of the year 1111, by Êtèdo Èqthepîv. The establishment of Qà Bàchyi Mîze suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Qà Bàchyi Mîze was built using the conventions of Wareneese durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Qà Bàchyi Mîze is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Qà Bàchyi Mîze is buildings are arranged arround a network of broad packed earth streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town sits comfortably behind a palisade wall complete with a timber gatehouse and battlments. The timber-based walls has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

A look around Qà Bàchyi Mîze seems to be home to a quite vibrant and boisterous community. Everywhere one looks they can see people going out their daily business with a smile and a spring in their step. Children play loudly in the streets, causing untold havoc as youth are want and allowed to do. On second glance, that chaos continues into adulthood. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes. Yet there are small elements here and there which show the underlying structure of the community. It’s just so complex, organic, and flowing one can only understand what is a piece of the puzzle, but not what its neighbors are.

Cultural Notes

While Qà Bàchyi Mîze might ostensibly be ruled by some other power, real control lies with the senior members of the local craft and labor guilds. Their decisions have the practical weight of law, and much of their time and effort is spent squeezing out competitors and parceling out economic opportunities in the community. Some guilds might have little or nothing to do with their original trade, and now exist purely as shells for political influence.

Qà Bàchyi Mîze's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used has a sleek, linear appearance with stylized, often geometric ornamentation. The primary facade of its buildings often featured a series of set backs that create a stepped outline. Low-relief decorative panels can be found at entrances, around windows, along roof edges or as string courses. It was best known for its use of smooth finish building materials such as stucco, concrete block, glazed brick or mosaic tile. Decorative details can incorporate various artistic or exotic motifs to suit the building's function or the architect's whim. Chevrons, zigzags, and other geometrical motifs are common forms of ornament.
